Abstract
PT APC is a company engaged in the field of breeding farm. PT APC produces a product of hatching eggs which will be used as Day Old Chicken (DOC). The resulting eggs are divided into two types, namely hatching eggs (HE) and non-HE. The purpose of the preparation of this thesis is to describe the process of handling egg production, identify the quality standards for hatching eggs and analyze quality control. The analysis was performed using the statistical quality control method by using the control chart tool p. Based on the results and discussion it can be concluded that the process of handling the results of egg production which includes egg retrieval activities, egg selection, fumigation and egg storage. The results of the analysis of quality control of hatching eggs with p control chart in February-March 2019, showed the quality of hatching egg products at PT APC under controlled conditions.
