Abstract

PD XX is a trading company engaged in the production and sale of banana chips. PD XX has a very good prospect of selling banana chips, but over time the order for PD XX has decreased. Orders tend to fall starting in 2015 due to the increasing number of UMKM or competitors that have sprung up and the lack of renewal of promotional innovations so that an appropriate sales promotion strategy is needed. The purpose of this thesis is to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in PD XX and analyze promotional strategies that can be applied to PD XX using the SWOT analysis method. The qualitative method is carried out through the stages of identifying internal and external factors that exist in PD XX, and the quantitative method is carried out using a matrix scoring system.
