Abstract

PT ABCK is a company engaged in banking services and one of the companies that implements an employee overtime system. PT ABCK has 8 working hours per day for 5 working days. The number of effective working hours of employees is 5.6 hours / day the number of productive work hours of employees is 1,294 hours / yea. Employee workload that exceeds productive working hours and negligence of employees in completing work results in employees having excess working hours on normal work days, especially in March-April 2019. The application of the overtime wage system at PT ABCK is carried out at the beginning and end of the month in accordance with the work criteria and overtime procedures. The author of this thesis aims to and analyze the workload to determine the needs of effective employees and explain the procedures for applying overtime and analyze the calculation of employee overtime pay. File collection methods used are interview and observation methods and play an active role in various activities carried out by PT ABCK. The file used are primary file and secondary file. The results of the discussion indicate that there is a need for additional employees and provide warnings for employees who are neglecting work to minimize excess overtime hours on normal workdays Keywords: Workload, Overtime hours, Employees, Application of overtime procedures
